Washington, : Ian Somerhalder does not feel like reflecting back on ‘The Vampire Diaries’, which is heading towards its final eighth season and the ‘Lost’ actor is revealing the reason behind it.
In an interview, the 37-year-old actor said the reason he is not going to reflect back at the series is that he is eyeing on the show’s another season, adding what made the people love the series was its characters, E! Online reports.
“The reason I’m not reflecting going back is that I’m staring down the barrel of another season and I really want to make sure that we get to go back to the basics,” he said.
Adding on to this, the’ Anomaly’ actor said he wants the audience to acknowledge the fact that they have spent eight years of their life watching these characters and want them to feel closer and more in tune with these characters.
The ‘ Vampire Diaries’ will return on April 1 at 8 p.m. on The CW.(ANI)
