President All India Muslim Front Mr. Osman Shahed advocate in a press note lauded the remark made by Bollywood actor Om Puri in which he said that if he felt threatened by extremists in India, he would move to Pakistan. Mr. Shaheed said that Om Puri’s remark is a tight slap on the face of communal elements who had unnecessarily criticized other film stars like Amer Khan and Shahrukh Khan.
India has been the standard-bearer of secularism for years. Even the Muslim rulers showed such tolerance that the history is proud of their achievements.
He appealed BJP leaders to quit their efforts to make India a Hindu Rashtra. This will be good for every Indian.
