MIM leaders Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi along with four MIM MLAs appeared before the District Magistrate Court here on Monday in connection with a case registered in 2005 for alleged assaulting of the then Medak Collector AK Singhal. The court adjourned the next hearing on the case to February 8.
MIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi reached the Sangareddy Court along with four MIM MLAs on Monday morning. It may be mentioned that he surrendered before the court on January 21 and was granted bail on January 24.
Meanwhile, Akbaruddin Owaisi was brought to Sangareddy Court from the Adilabad District Jail, where he is lodged in the alleged hate speech case. Police have made elaborate security arrangements around the court premises. (INN)
