Padmanabham ends hunger strike

Hyderabad: Kapu leader of A.P., Mr. M. Padmanabham, at last ended his hunger strike and asked the doctors to provide medical aid. This was disclosed by Collector of East Godavari, Mr. Arun Kumar and Mr. Sri Kant, DIGP of Vishakapatnam range.

 

It is reported that at the instance of the Govt., the police officers negotiated with Kapu leader, Padmanabham and assured him that legal consul will be sought from the lawyers about the release of 13 persons who were arrested in connection with the violence for setting fire a train at Tuni.

 

Home Minister of A.P. Mr. Ch. Rajappa and Minister of HRD, Mr. G. Srinivas Rao told that Govt. of Telangana is neither prepared to take back criminal cases unconditionally against the three accused nor to release them.
