Pak to release 180 Indian fishermen on Mar. 21

Amritsar (Punjab): Pakistan is set to release 180 more Indian fishermen lodged in its jails on March 21.

According to reports, as many as 362 Indian fishermen, mostly hailing from Gujarat, are languishing in Pakistani jails at present.

Pakistan had earlier on March 7 released 86 fishermen from Karachi’s Landhi Jail.

The Pakistan Marine Security Agency (PMSA) frequently apprehends Indian fishermen and their boats for allegedly violating the International Maritime Boundary Line, which exists between the two Asian neighbours. (ANI)
