Pak SSC calls UN to advocate Kashmir dispute

Islamabad : Pakistan Chairperson of Senate Standing Committee (SSC) on Foreign Affairs Nuzhat Sadiq has called upon the United Nations (UN) to play its role to settle the Kashmir issue.

Chairperson said that India should give Kashmiris their right to self-determination.

Radio Pakistan reported that she said it was India that had taken the issue to UN and accepted people of Kashmir’s right to self determination.

She said India should give Kashmiris their right to self-determination in line with the UN resolutions.

The Chairperson added that the ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ will be observed on February 5. (ANI)
