Gurmehar Kaur (19), daughter of Capt. Mandeep Singh who was killed in the 1999 Kargil War conveyed an awesome message for all Indians and Pakistanis via 30 placards. She posted this message on Social networking site which is appreciated by not only Indians but also Pakistanis. In one of the placards, she says that, mother held her back and made her understand that Pakistan did not kill her dad, war killed him. Another placards says, “It took me a while to know but today I do, I have learnt to let go of my hate, I fight for peace between India and Pakistan”.

Talking to media, she said that she is receiving appreciation not only from India but also from Pakistan. She said that majority of Indians and Pakistanis wants peace not war. Finally, she conveyed via placard, “Enough State sponsored hatred, enough is enough”
