Hyderabad: Mr. Arshad Mohammed, a Pakistani Prisoner was released from Central Jail of Warangal. Mr. M. Sampath, Superintendent of Jail handed over Arshad to Hyderabad City Police.
According to the statement made by the jail Superintendent, Arshad Mohammed had already completed his imprisonment in August last year. Govt. of India had also permitted him to go to Pakistan but the Govt. of Pakistan did not show any interest in this case. For the completion of formalities of the relevant documents, he had to be in jail for another year. Arshad had requested External Affairs Minister, Ms. Sushma Swaraj to help him. She took the initiative in this case and as a result of which he is now going back to his country.
