Pakistani spy arrested in Rajasthan

Jaipur: A 26-year-old suspected Pakistani spy was arrested by police in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan and recovered micro SD cards that contain classified information. Additional director general of police (intelligence) Utkal Ranjan Sahoo said additional superintendent of police Rajiv Dutta and his team arrested Nandlal, a resident of Kheepar in Pakistan’s Sangad district, from a hotel in Jaisalmer.

Police have recovered two mobile phones with micro SD cards, Rs 2,010 and 30 Pakistani currencies from Nandlal, who came to India via Munabao on August 5 on valid a visa. Munabao is a village in Barmer district bordering Pakistan.
The officer told “In the SD cards, classified information related to defence institutions and photographs of vehicles has been found. Preliminary investigation suggests that Nandlal was in constant touch with smugglers and anti-social elements residing in the border areas of Rajasthan. He smuggled various things through his contacts and collected classified information related to defence agencies working in the border areas and provided them to Pakistan ISI officials.”
