Pakistan’s deceptive diplomacy exposed, says J-K Deputy CM

Jamm: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh on Sunday said that Pakistan’s deceptive diplomacy has been exposed by its decision to call off the national security advisor-level talks with India.

“They(Pakistan) wanted India to call off the talks and blame it on India on the international forum. This is the real face of Pakistan. This has exposed the deceptive diplomacy of Pakistan,” Singh told ANI.

“We wanted to have some mechanism to tackle terrorism, that was the main understanding of Ufa. The mechanism to bring peace on the border was the main purpose of this talk. But, they never wanted it. There was no need to invite the Hurriyat and other separatist leaders,” Singh added.

Speaking about the outstanding issues that exist between India and Pakistan, including the so-called issue of Jammu and Kashmir, Singh claimed that both the separatists and Pakistan were combining to ensure that peace never prevails in the state.

“This is a combine game of both separatist and Pakistan because they never wanted peace to prevail in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.(ANI)
