Palair by-elections are special: KTR

Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Monday stated that the by-elections for Palair Assembly Constituency were not ordinary.

Addressing an election meeting in favour of TRS candidate and R&B Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao, KTR said that the ongoing by-elections would change the fate of Palair and its people. Reiterating that Tummala would register a historic victory, KTR said TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy was hesitating his challenge for resignation from post only due to fear of losing the by-elections.

KTR said that the Congress party would be completely wiped off from the State after by-elections. He reminded that the Congress party has lost all elections after the formation of Telangana State. However, Congress has been contesting all elections only to register its presence. He alleged that TPCC Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was trying to attract public attention by chanting film dialogues. (INN)
