PAN card or Form 60 mandatory for payment of 1st instalment of Hajj expenses

Hyderabad: All the selected Hajj aspirants of Telangana are asked to submit PAN card while paying Rs. 81000 as the first instalment of Hajj expenses. Those who don’t possess PAN card must submit form 60.

Special Officer Telangana Hajj Committee, Prof. S A Shukoor told that the first instalment of Hajj expenses can be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India or Union bank. The amount can be deposited on or before April 5, 2017, but at that time aspirants have to either submit a copy of PAN card or attach form 60 available with banks. He told that this is mandatory for depositing amount over 50000 in any bank. However cash handling charges will not be collected in Hajj Committee dealings.

Prof. Shukoor further told that aspirants can also make online payment by using e-payment option at hajj committee website www.hajcommittee.gov.in.
