Papalal, Murali elected Mayor, Dy Mayor of Khammam MC

Hyderabad: Dr Papalal and B Murali today took oath as mayor and deputy mayor of Khammam municipal corporation here on Tuesday.
The District Collector earlier announced that they were elected unanimously for the top posts. The new civic body took oath of office administered by Commissioner Venugopal Reddy. Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao, MLCs Lakshminarayana and Rajeshwar Reddy congratulated the Mayor and deputy Mayor on the occasion. (NSS)
