Parents sell everything to save son; appeal for donations

Hyderabad: Syed Ahmed an auto-dirver and his wife Syeda Qamerunnisa have three daughters and two sons. Last year their 13-year-old son met a horrendous accident following which he got his right hand amputated. His right leg’s bones were broken. Doctors inserted rods into the leg. Plastic surgery was performed on his hip. He was treated in Osmania General Hospital, NIMS, Gandhi Hospital and Aakar Asha Hospital, Kukatpally. According to Syed Ahmed he sold his auto, wife’s jewellery and household items for son’s treatment.

Helping Hand Foundation Trustee Mujtaba Hasan Askari took special interest due to which boy’s treatment was made possible at Aakar Asha Hospital. The Foundation spent 3.2 lakh for Syed Hamed’s treatment. Now Siasat Millat Fund and Faiz-e-Aam Trust have joined hands to help the boy.

Faiz-e-Aam Trust paid the electricity bill of Syed Ahmed’s house and provided him with one month food ration.

Siasat Millat Fund and Faiz-e-Aam Trust together will buy him a special bed and wheel chair. Faiz-e-Aam trust has also taken the responsibility to educate Syed Ahmed’s other 4 children.

According to Syed Ahmed, his son Syed Hamed who was a madrasa student is bedridden for past 7 months. Additional 2 to 3 lakhs are required for his complete recovery. He has appealed all to help him save his child.
