Parliament of world’s religions wants Nobel for Sri Sri

New Delhi: Parliament of the World’s Religions on Sunday compared the “ideologies and experiments” of Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Junior and advocated Nobel Peace Prize for him.

“Love moves the world. This is what Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Junior and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar say. His teachings are changing us the Homo-Sapiens to world citizen,” Lawrence Carter from the Parliament of the World’s Religions said here.

He said the preachings of AoL were taking people towards a world citizenship.

“Hallelujah and Amen. Let’s all nominate him for Nobel Peace Prize,” he said.

The Parliament of the World’s Religions was created to cultivate harmony among the world’s religious and spiritual communities and foster their engagement with the world and its guiding institutions in order to achieve a just, peaceful and sustainable world.
