Mudragada Panmabham, who is on indefinite hunger strike in Andhra Pradesh State demanding inclusion of Kapus in the BC list, got support from Jana Sena president and “power star” Pawan Kalyan.
In his twitter, Pawan urged the TDP government to have a dialogue with the Kapu leaders spearheading the agitation in support of their demand. Pawan Kalyan said Kapu reservation was an election promise originally made by the TDP. He suggested that the State government hammer out an acceptable solution with the help of intellectuals before the situation goes out of hand.
Meanwhile, AP Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu questioned the continuation of hunger strike by Padmanabham. He said in spite of assurance to resolve the issue, how can the latter continue hunger strike though anybody has right to go on diksha. (NSS)
