Describing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as ‘dictator’, Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumanth Rao has said the people will put an end to dictatorial rule as the Chief Minister was not bothered about farmers’ suicides.
Addressing the Congress protestors at Khammam town on Saturday, VH alleged that the TRS government was insulting the families of the farmers, who committed suicides. The Congress party will intensify its agitation further, he warned. The Congress activists staged a rasta rook and obstructed movement of vehicular traffic. They raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. The police obstructed the Congress leaders when they organized a rally towards Collectorate office to lay siege. (NSS)
