People will hurl stones at Oppn for “dramas”: Tummala

Hyderabad: Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshar Rao today slammed the Opposition parties for making false allegations against the State government on chilli row, projects and welfare.
Talking to mediapersons at Khammam, the minister criticized the Opposition leaders for enacting “dramas” for political gain on farmers’ row as they do not know about their character. He also charged the Opposition leaders with making politics on chilli row though the government was taking all possible measures to mitigate their problems. He accused the Congress, Telugu Desam leaders of shedding “crocodile tears” after causing vandalism at the Khammam market yard for political mileage.
The R&B Minister flayed TDP working president Revanth Reddy for trying to blame the State government by staging a protest at Khammam market on chilli row. “The TDP leader does not want completion of the projects in Palamur district. Revanth is making cheap comments and filed cases in the courts against the projects”, he fumed.
The people will revolt against the Opposition parties for coming in the way of development and completion of the projects, he said. “Time will come when the people will throw stones at the Opposition leaders if they failed to mend their ways”, the minister warned. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was keen on completing the projects, highways for better connectivity, lakes revival for rural people, empowerment he said. The Opposition was turning jealous on the development programs and welfare, he added. The KCR Government has taken all steps to provide more power to farm sector and providing necessary help the farmers for sustainable growth, he added. (NSS)
