People will soon realize KCR’s true colours: Gutta

Nalgonda: Congress senior leader and Nalgonda MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy has lambasted the TRS government for its miserable failure to provide basic needs to the people and wasting precious time on elections and encouraging defections from the other Opposition parties.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Gutta explained how Chief Minister K Chandraskhara Rao was betraying the public with his ‘gimmick’ speeches. He also demanded that the government immediately release Krishna water to Nagarjuna Sagar left canal to fill water bodies in the district to mitigate the problem of acute shortage of drinking water. He also criticized the State government for releasing Rs 5.18 crore to drought-hit mandals in the district as against the proposals for Rs 29 crore.
Sukhendar Reddy has called upon the people to launch agitations so that the government would realize the situation and fulfill the promises made by the Chief Minister during elections. Alleging that the TRS had won the Warangal Lok Sabha by-election, GHMC elections and Narayankhed Assembly by-poll by misuse of official machinery, encouraging political defections and grabbing public into illusion trap, the MP said the government’s flagship program of two bedroom houses to poor was limited to announcements and only 396 houses were constructed in Hyderabad only to woo the voters under GHMC limits. He also demanded that the State government make allocation to majority of works of SLBC tunnel and Kalvakurthi-Nettempadu projects for the welfare of farmers and public.
He also pointed out that while the previous united AP government had borrowed only Rs 1.5 lakh crore KCR was ready to take loans to the tune of Rs 3 lakh crores within a span of two years. Stating that the people of the State are in illusion trap of Chief Minister KCR, he said the people would realize the fact and would teach a fitting lesson to the CM and his party. He also slammed the Railway ministry for neglecting the Nalgonda-Macherla railway line.
