Minister for Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav today accorded permission to “Bahubali” film to screen fifth show in theatres every day and extend all cooperation.
Film producer Devineni Prasad on Monday called on the minister at Secretariat and extended an invitation to the government for a special show of the film. The producer also sought cooperation from the government for the film. Later, the minister promised to give permission for screening fifth show everyday besides giving subsidies and necessary cooperation for the film. He said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has asked the officials to offer the film producer the needed subsidies and permissions for its historic prominence.
The film is rich in terms of artistic splendor, creative exuberance and awe-inspiring scenes that fetched accolades world over. Srinivas Yadav also appreciated the film producer, director and its team for creating records through Bahubali. The minister also said the film made Telugu film industry to be noted world-wide and the State government will offer all the needed support to it. The minister said steps will be taken against the cinema theatres and erring stalls selling food items more than actual price. He also said that online ticket system will be implemented to full extent and expressed hope that theatre managements will cooperate. (NSS)
