Faridabad: Taking suo motu cognisance of an incident of alleged molestation by a physical training instructor of a private school here with an 11-year-old girl student, Haryana Human Rights Commission has asked the Police Commissioner to submit a report in this regard.
The incident took place on March 29 when the instructor allegedly misbehaved with the student. When she informed her parents a case of molestation was lodged against the accused, Police Commissioner Hanif Qureshi said.
The girl’s parents, however, alleged that despite their complaint police did not take any action against the accused, instead they were pressurised to negotiate.
The school management however maintained that no such incident took place.
The state Human Rights Commission has sent a notice to the Police Commissioner directing him to submit a report on the matter by April 18.
