Hyderabad: Telangana Hajj Committee has geared up for conducting draw for accommodation in the Nizam’s Rubat in Makkah. Date for draw will be finalised as soon as the details of pilgrims to be given accommodation in Rubat are received from Rubat Caretaker Husain Mohammed Al Shareef.
Rubat caretaker has assured to provide accommodation to 800 pilgrims however approval from Saudi Hajj Ministry and Nizam Awqaf Committee is yet to be sought. Those selected in Rubat are entitled to free accommodation.
Last year arrangement was done for 600 pilgrims in Rubat. Special Officer Telangana Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that Rubat Caretaker Husain Al Shareef will be arriving in Hyderabad on July 15 following which drawing of lot will be held.
