Delhi: An absconding woman who sold illegal weapons for 15 years has been arrested on Sunday. Delhi Police’s special cell also seized 14 pistols and 14 magazines from her. The woman was declared absconding in 2014, according to officers of Delhi Police.
According to India Today, she is identified as Mobai and was smuggling the arms in Delhi-NCR region. She was arrested from Delhi’s Shastri Park area, police said.
To escape her arrest she would always get down on the trains at the station prior to her destination. The woman belongs to Madhya Pradesh and would acquire the arms illegally with the help of her accomplice for 15 years. She would then sell the weapons in Delhi-NCR area.
Delhi Police’s special cell is questioning her to get information about people who have bought illegal arms from her.
