Pitt finds ‘something wrong’ with America’s financial system

Los Angeles: Hollywood star Brad Pitt says something is seriously wrong with the financial system of the USA.

The 51-year-old actor said he learned about the economic crash of 2008 while filming “The Big Short” and thinks nothing much has changed since then, reported The Wrap.

“There’s something seriously wrong, you talk to the experts now and they say nothing’s changed. The entitlement to make money without responsibility still exists, it’s alive and well. And the same practises are still going on, only in different arenas. But nothing’s changed. That’s a problem,” Pitt said.

The film is based on the book of the same name by Michael Lewis and Pitt realised that many people were negatively affected by the crash and is”angry that so many people lost their homes.”

“Families were put on the street, they lost their life savings, and yet no one was held accountable. No senior official was held accountable. That’s amazing,” he said.
