New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute aids to over nine thousand differently-abled people on Friday in Varanasi, which also happens to be his constituency.

Prime Minister Modi is expected to talk to five differently-abled children who have recently gone through cochlear implant surgeries. The Prime Minister will also personally hand over the artificial limbs, tricycles and other equipment to some of the beneficiaries.

More than 350 buses of UP Roadways have been engaged to collect the beneficiaries from their doorsteps to attend the ceremony.

Prime Minister Modi will also attend three functions including the convocation of Bhimrao Ambedkar University, distribution of e-rickshaws and would visit the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Mahasabha in Lucknow.

He will also flag off Mahamana Superfast Express from Dreka ground.

The train has been named Mahamana Express after Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya, the founder of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

It will run between Varanasi and Delhi via Lucknow thrice a week.

The train is fully equipped with the modern facilities with dustbins and bio toilets in every coach. The train also has new renovated and refurbished AC-coaches fitted with led screen.

The train will cover the 800 km distance in less than 14 hours.

This is Prime Minister Modi’s fifth visit to his constituency after assuming office in May, 2014.
