PM Modi holds Round-table meeting with business leaders

Washington D.C.: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a Round-table meeting with India-U.S. business leaders at the Central Green Room Gallery of Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium here.

The Round-table began with welcome remarks by U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) Chairman John Chambers, who also moderated the conversation with the CEOs.

Jeff Bezos, Amazon; Jim Talciet, American Tower Corporation; Uday Shankar, Star India; Robert Ford, Abbott; David Cordani, Cigna; Michael Maulik, Sunilnk; Ed Monser, Emerson; lndra Nooyi, Pepsico; Ajay Banga, Mastercard; Tom Donohue, U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Dilip Shanghvi, Sun Pharmaceuticals; Habil Khorakiwala, Wockhardt; Hari Bhartia, Jubilant; C.P. Gurnani, Tech Mahindra; Abidall Neemuchwala, Moro; Marc Allen, Boeing Jose; Emeterio Guiterrez, Westinghouse; Stephen Spengler, Intelsat; and Dan Yergin, IHS, also spoke on the occasion.

U.S. Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker made special remarks, while concluding remarks were made by Prime Minister Modi.

The meeting concluded with votes of thanks by the USIBC Chairman.
