PM Modi to spend time with jawans on Diwali


New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will spend his time with the jawans on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.

“Today on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, I am visiting the border areas to spend time with our Jawans,” he tweeted.

In another tweet, Prime Minister Modi also wished the people of the country and the people living across the world on the occasion of Diwali.

Diwali, the festival of lights, is being celebrated in different parts of the country today with traditional fervour and gaiety.

Diwali represents the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. The people have decorated their houses with fancy lights and are preparing to worship Goddess of wealth Lakshmi on this occasion. (ANI)
