PM Modi walks out of presentation, hints officials not serious on health, sanitation

New Delhi: PM, Narendra Modi was not happy with the presentation made by a group of secretaries and said them to work on the presentation again and left in the middle of presentation given by the other group on health, sanitation and urban development.

According to Times of India, this act by PM was uncommon as he every time sits till the presentation completes and even involves him in the discussions.

When the group of secretaries (GoS) on agriculture and allied sectors were giving presentation, PM was unhappy and asks the GoS to put more effort and rework on the presentation and bring up the new ideas relating to the sectors.

When the other group on health, sanitation and urban development was presenting, Modi left the meeting even before they completed, sources said.

Officials from PMO and Niti Aayog and all the secretaries and other department heads attends and participates as audience during presentation made by each GoS at Prime Minister’s residence.
