PML-N will complete its constitutional term: Pak PM Sharif

Islamabad [Pakistan]: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has claimed that his government will complete its constitutional term and on the basis of its performance will be winning the next elections.

Sharif said that he is not a person to get influenced or scared by the tactics of the political opponents, reports Radio Pakistan.

He was addressing a public gathering in Phool Nagar this afternoon.

The Prime Minister said mega development projects in infrastructure, energy, health and many other fields across the country for equal development are being implemented by his government.

Claiming that today’s Pakistan is much better than that of 2013 and 2018, country will further improve in all respects, Sharif said that by 2018 not only power outages will end, but electricity will also get cheaper though electricity rate has already been brought down from eighteen rupees per unit to ten rupees per unit.

Stating that any previous government did not launch the projects that are being implemented by the current PML-N government, he said that the Lahore-Peshawar Motorway, which could not be further extended, will be taken to Karachi again by his government.

Sharif said in all the regions of the country the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects are being implemented and the prosperity that it brings will continue benefiting the nation for centuries to come.

The Prime Minister asserted that world is acknowledging the fast pace at which Pakistan has been growing.

Sharif announced one billion rupees for gas supply projects and another one billion rupees for schools, hospitals, bridges, and clean drinking water schemes in NA-142. Highway to link Phool Nagar with Motorway and a technical college for the area were also announced by him. (ANI)
