Police Book Case Against Revanth Reddy—Objectionable Remarks Against C M

Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police has  registered a case against TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy for using objectionable words against chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

            The police booked a case against Telangana TDP working president and MLA Revanth Reddy on the complaint of TRS leader Manne Govardhan Reddy  who complained that the former has used inappropriate and objectionable language against KCR before leaving the venue in Medak district for launching a hunger strike.

            Revanth Reddy yesterday began two days hunger strike at Ettigadda Kistapur in support of Mallannasagar land oustees demanding justice to them.

             police bookd the case against Revanth Reddy under section 504  (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 290  (Punishment for public nuisance) and 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of IPC. (NSS)
