Police Commissioner inaugurates “Bharosa” website for women and children victims

Hyderabad: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Commissioner of Hyderabad City Police, Mr. Mahinder Reddy the setting up of Bharosa website to help women and children victims. Talking to newsmen yesterday, Mr. Reddy told that necessary services would be provided by the police for women and children to help them in medical, legal, psychological and rehabilitation fields. Cases of Sexual Harassment, Domestic Violence, Prostitution, Human Trafficking, Eve Teasing etc would be taken up these help centers. He further told that Hyderabad City Police had submitted the proposal to Govt. of Telangana for the formation of a voluntary society with public and private partnership in order to provide help to women and children victims. Govt. has permitted it and very soon this society would be formed.

Additional Commissioner of Police, Ms. Swathi Lakra told that help would be provide to the victims irrespective of their age, caste, educational, social and marital status.
