Bulandshahr: Police today seized Rs 18 lakh from a man during vehicular checking at Ahmadgarh Police Station here.
40-year-old Rajeev, a resident of Atra Koniya, said that he was a milk supplier and the money was being taken for payment to the milk suppliers in Badaun from whom he had purchased milk, SP Crime Arvind Kumar Pandey said.
The Income Tax authorities were also summoned in this connection, the officer said adding the investigation is underway.
