Police kill suspect in Nashville theatre attack

New York, Aug 6 : Police have killed the suspected man who unleashed a volley of pepper spray at audience members in a movie theater in Nashville.

According to the New York Times, the man was identified as Vincente David Montano of Nashville. He was carrying two backpacks and wearing a surgical mask, possibly to protect himself from the pepper spray he unleashed in large amounts, said Don Aaron, Metro Nashville police.html”>Police spokesman.

Aaron said that three people were hit with the spray and treated while a total of eight people were present in the theatre.

The violence at the Carmike Hickory 8 complex in the Antioch area of southeast Nashville comes about two weeks after a 59-year-old drifter opened fire inside a movie theater in Lafayette, La. (ANI)
