The police department has set up a secret team to keep tabs on the activities of officers who were involved in corruption and irregularities while implementing Minority Welfare schemes. On receiving complaints regarding irregularities and role of brokers in various schemes provided by the Minority Welfare Department especially ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ and ‘bank linked subsidy scheme’, the Chief Minister handed over the matter to Director General Anti Corruption Bureau Mr. A K Khan.

Director General Anti Corruption Bureau sought information from various quarters on which he received the complaints regarding nexus between officers and brokers. It has been decided to monitor their activities through a police team. The team will keep eye on the performance of all minority institutions and will keep tabs on the activities of officers, workers and brokers.
