In a shocking development, AICC member and Congress party senior leader Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy tendered his resignation to the party positions–coordination committee and PCC executive committee member here on Wednesday alleging that the PCC appointments were not good.
Sudhakar Reddy sent his resignation letter to the AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi, AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi, PCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, opposition leader in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir through fax. He alleged in the letter that the TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy behaved unilaterally in filling the positions. Stating that the high command approached only Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Renuka Chowdhary only, Sudhakar lamented that the high command the seniors like him working for the party for the last several years.
It is learnt that Shabbir Ali tried to convince Sudhakar Reddy saying that not to hurry regarding any extreme decision. (NSS)
