Ponnam sees conspiracy behind BC Creamy layer policy

Karimnagar former MP Ponnam Prabhakar has alleged there was a big conspiracy behind the G.O. issued to implement the BC Cleamy-Layer only in Telangana State and said no other State government across the nation implemented the BC Creamy-Layer.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Ponnam asserted that G.O. issued to implement the BC Creamy-Layer meant only to suppress the Backward Classes people and demanded that the Telangana State government withdraw the G.O. immediately and scrap the Creamy Layer policy.

He asked the Telangana State government as to why it was in hurry to implement the Creamy Layer for BCs. He said the BC Ministers in Telangana State government would become history-less ones in case they failed to pull the Chief Minister in this regard. He said several BCs would lose reservations in case the State government implemented Rs 6 lakh limit as Creamy-Layer. He also warned the government that BC Unions will wage a movement against the State government if it failed to scrap the G.O. issued to implement BC Creamy Layer. He made it clear that the BC unions will obstruct the injustice to be meted out to the BCs. (NSS)
