Pre-Matric scholarships of Govt. of India – Only Rs. 1000 sanctioned as against Rs. 5000

Hyderabad: Govt. of India sanctions Pre-Matric Scholarship to financially backward students belonging to Minorities. The amount of scholarship is Rs. 5000 per annum but last year, only Rs. 1000 per student was sanctioned. Many students had submitted their forms for the first time but they were disappointed and their forms were rejected.

In order to sort out various difficulties in the submission of scholarship forms, a special program is being organized at 1:30 pm. On Sunday 7th August at Mahboob Hussain Jigar Hall, Siasat Office Complex, Abids. Officials of Minorities Welfare Dept. will explain rules and regulations for grant of scholarships. Mr. Dilawar Ali Khan, General Manager of Minorities Finance Corporation will explain the details. Mr. Mohammed Sajid Ali, Chairman of Iqra Mission School, Nawab Sahab Kunta, Jahanuma and Mr. Mohammed Abdul Hameed, Coordinator have requested the students & parents to attend.
