Recently AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi kicks up a controversy by refusing to chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, he now clarifying the controversy says that ‘he would rather prefer’Jai Hind’, on other slogans, and has even started using it more frequently.
“This is the slogan that was raised during the freedom struggle, ‘Jai Hind’ has no religious connotation,” Owaisi told STOI.
Hyderabad MP, who is out of the city, said it was sad that Hindutuva creating such situations and forcing others to prove patriotism by saying certain slogans.
“Instead of all other I would prefer to say ‘Jai Hind’ and ‘Hindustan Zindabad’,”said Owaisi.
It is to be noted that over the law few days, the Hyderabad MP frequently using ‘Jai Hind’. Especially when he is re-tweeting news reports that are against the Hindutva brand of nationalism..
