Hyderabad: Demonetisation woes are increasing day by day. A pregnant woman who had to undergo caesarean was denied money in a nationalised bank located opposite to Zoo Park.
According to sources a pregnant woman whose delivery through C-section was scheduled the next day, approached the nationalised bank. After standing in the queue for 2 hours, when she reached the counter she was denied amount on the excuse of having no cash. The woman produced all the details regarding her delivery and surgery certified by the doctor before bank officials, but they paid no heed to. Hospital administration also showed apathy towards her although she undergoes monthly check up there.
The pregnant woman broke into tears on her helplessness. Her husband resides in Saudi Arabia hence she had reached the bank along with her relative. With tears in her eyes she asked the Siasat correspondent ‘Are these the good days which were promised by the Prime Minister?’
