Press mobile ATMs to ease out note ban crisis: Ponguleti

Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Sunday said that the Centre should set up mobile ATMs in the wake of severe cash crunch and unending hardships to the common man.

Speaking at the ZP meeting here, the Congress leader said that the farmers were facing severe difficulties as the cheques they were given at the market yards were taking time to pass. In the absence of cash the farmers are facing difficulty in selling their produce, he said .

Ponguleti demanded that the State Government release water for irrigation from Nagarjuna Sagar project stating that any delay in releasing water would damage the crop like last year.  He urged the government to deal strictly with those involved in producing adulterated chilli powder and supplying the same in market.

The Congress MLC said that the land sharks were grabbing lake beds and tanks under Mission Kakatiya in various places in the district and asked the authorities to crack the whip against land grabbers.  He also urged the government to immediately clear the dues under free reimbursement scheme saying that the students are facing difficulties in continuing their studies.
