Hyderabad: A prisoner committed suicide at Cherlapally Central jail. According to sources 20-year-old, Deepak hanged himself to death in the bathroom of the jail with the help of a towel. Alleged harassment by jail authorities is said to be the cause behind suicide. However police rebuffed harassment by jail administration and told that the man was an under-trial prisoner and police will conduct enquiry. Inspector Kushaiguda Mr. Venkat Raman told hat Deepak, S/O Ganesh, R/O Kushaiguda took the extreme step on Friday. Investigations are underway.
