UP: Private school issues diktat, asks students to get ‘Yogi Haircut’

Rishabh Academy School which is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued this diktat, after which, shocked parents protests outside the school.

Denying such diktat, Secretary of Management Committee of the school, Ranjit Jain said that he asked students to get Yogi-like haircuts just to explain them very short haircuts.

He also asked the student not to keep the beard as this is not a madrassa or a place where they come to offer namaz. Jain further added that to prevent love jihad, boys and girls are made to study in the separate classroom.

It is to be mentioned that the school management has also directed the students not to bring non-vegetarian food items in the institution. They warned of stern action if such items were found in student’s tiffin boxes.

In response to this diktat, angry parents held a demonstration before the school on Thursday and demanded action against the management.
