Probe against Mutawalli of Dargah Shah Khamoosh stopped

Hyderabad: 12th Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate submitted his final report of the probe against Maulana Syed Akbar Nizamuddin, Mutawalli of Dargah Hazrath Shah Khamoosh in which he mentioned that the allegations leveled against him are of civil nature and hence probe against him should be stopped.

It may be mentioned that the then CEO of Wakf Board had registered the case in CCS for the sale of wakf lands and financial misappropriation. CCS had obtained the first report of the survey committee and the sale deed gift from the Wakf Board. During the investigation, it was noticed that on the basis of the report of the survey commissioner, the properties were included as wakf properties whereas any official of the board did not make any attempt to ascertain the ownership title of these properties. In the event of not producing any evidence, the allegations leveled against the Mutawalli were not appropriate.

The investigating officer of the Wakf Board also declared these allegations as baseless. After the probe, CCS declared in its final report that this matter pertains to civil case and hence the probe should be stopped.
