Job Description:
Projectionist duty is to assure smooth running of all projectors and equipment, troubleshooting errors and most of all preventing technical malfunctions in the Cinema operations.
Some of the duties include :
-Receiving and checking the film hard drives.
Loading the films on to the projector in the right order.
-Making sure that the film runs smoothly through the projector.
-Checking that sound is operating properly.
-Sending the hard drives to other branches.
-Looking after the projection equipment’s and organizing services.
-Being responsible for cooling, lighting, ventilation and alarm systems in the cinema.
-Ensuring that advertisement are played as per the Marketing sequence.
Skills:
-Advanced IT Skills in database management
-Ability to find and repair mechanical faults
-Keen interest in film and cinema Ability to carry out routine jobs quickly
-Good attention to detail
-Reliability and excellent time keeping
-Good eyesight, hearing, and coordination\
