Promotion of Urdu possible if loved like mother: Zahed Ali Khan

15 years ago when Siasat conducted a survey to assess the pass percentage of Muslim students in SCC and inter it was abysmally low upto 6 to 8 percent while today after 15 years the pass percentage has gone up to 68 percent, if the same trend is continued, the pass percentage will reach 100 pc in the future. These views were expressed by Mr. Zahed Ali Khan Siasat editor while releasing Siasat SSC Question Bank (Urdu Medium).

Speaking further he said dropout rate is high in Muslim community which directly effects literacy rate. He announced that SSC Urdu medium state topper will be given gold medal by Siasat. He urged the students to prepare well for the exam and avoid television and parties. Regarding Urdu language Mr. Zahed Ali Khan said this is our mother tongue; if we love our mother tongue as we love our mother then its preservation and promotion is possible.
