Hyderabad: Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao, CM of Telangana State appealed everyone to promote plantation. He was reviewing Harita Haram program and the proposed establishment of Forest College. He observed that forests in Telangana have become rare. Even on forest lands there are no trees. He said that enactment for plantation making compulsory is essential. Govt. would take necessary steps in this regard very soon. He also said that an international level forest college is being established in Medak District and classes will start from the next academic year. Govt. is seriously considering executing Memorandum of Understanding with American Forest College.
