New Delhi: Online real estate advisor PropTiger has announced the acquisition of Gurgaon-based startup 3DPhy, a pioneer in the field of Virtual and Augmented Reality and 3D visualizations.
With this acquisition, PropTiger aims to advance its technological platform to further enhance its hi-tech marketing solutions for developers.

Last year PropTiger had acquired Bengaluru-based interactive technology firm OoBi, the latest move is seen as a step in the direction of bolstering its 3D capabilities.

PropTiger intends to offer greater flexibility and choice and improved user experience to its customers. The coming of the 3DPhy team will help PropTiger make the home search experience more immersive.

“With mobile devices overtaking desktops, the real estate sector has become one of the prime sectors where people want to have the ability to search anywhere and anytime, and that is a big priority for us. We are excited to work with 3DPhy and the acquisition reiterates our commitment to provide best in class user experience. It further solidifies our lead in the industry,” said CEO PropTiger.com and makaan.com, Dhruv Agarwala.

The partnership will bring together complementary technology platforms and capabilities, enabling PropTiger to address current technological gaps in the industry to better support customers in decision-making.

“We are excited to partner with PropTiger. Together, we will offer a comprehensive technological solution to meet the changing needs of our customers. We are delighted that PropTiger believes in our technology and strategic vision; this will enable us to bring even greater value to customer,” said Co-founder and CEO of 3Dphy, Amit Shekhar.
