On the first day of public hearing, representatives from 12 organizations have placed their views before the Commission.

As the Sudhir Commission Report recommended 12% reservations for Muslim BCs, the Telangana State BC Commission’s cooperation and support in forwarding it to the Government was sought from the Muslim Community.  Mohd. Mohd. Iftekharuddin has urged the BC Commission to tour all districts in the State to know stark realities about the poor living conditions of BCs among Muslims.
