Washington D.C. [U.S.A.]: Amid the controversy surrounding the Kremlin’s involvement in last year’s race for the White House, former U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge has remarked that while President Donald Trump might have been talking about winning, it was Russian President Vladimir Putin who was actually winning.
Ridge was quoted as saying that the Russian leader was succeeding in his apparent bid to sow chaos within the U.S.
“President Trump talks about winning? Right now, Putin is winning,” Ridge said, adding, “the rhetoric needs to be toned down.”
These comments have come in response to probes trying to find out Russia’s possible involvement in the 2016 U.S. presidential race. (ANI)
