Basmati rice-1 Cup
Chilly powder-1 Teaspoons
Chana daal- 1/2 Cup
Yogurt- 1/2Cup
Bay leaf-2 Numbers
Whole garam masala (each)-20Grams
Green chilly- 3 Numbers
Shahi jeera- 1/2Teaspoons
Ghee- 1 Tablespoons
Coriander powder- pinch
Fried onions- 1/2Cup
Salt- to taste


Take biryani handy add ghee when ghee is hot add shahi jeera, whole garam masala, green chilly, bay leaf, ginger garlic paste, chopped mint, chopped coriander, chilly powder, coriander powder, yogurt, add chana dal (boiled with salt, chilly powder,turmeric).

Once it comes to boil add boiled rice (95%done), add fried onions, then again add the layer of rice then add fried onions and pour some lime juice, put the lid on and let it cook for 5 minutes in a slow flame.

After 5 minutes switch off the flame.

Serve this hot.
